1. Is Fubo Free? Quick Answer
No. Fubo is not a completely free streaming service. Its main offering is a paid live-TV streaming subscription that includes sports, news, entertainment channels, local programming, and on-demand content depending on the plan and location.
Some viewers may access Fubo without an immediate charge through limited options, such as a promotional free trial for eligible new customers or select access to Fubo Free. However, availability is not guaranteed and may vary by account, plan, location, and current promotions.
Free trials, channel lineups, and billing terms can change over time. The most accurate way to check whether you can watch Fubo for free is to review the offer shown during signup or in your account settings before subscribing.
2. Does Fubo Have a Free Trial?
Yes, Fubo may offer a free trial to eligible new subscribers, allowing them to try a qualifying paid plan before being charged. During the trial period, users can access the channels, live TV features, and content included with their selected package.
According to the official Fubo free-trial page, trial availability, length, and eligible plans can vary depending on the current offer. Some plans, add-ons, or accounts may not qualify, so check the details shown during signup.
If you start a Fubo free trial, review the renewal date and subscription terms before the trial ends. To avoid charges, cancel through the correct billing method before renewal if you decide not to continue.

Fubo Free is a limited, ad-supported viewing option currently offered to select former subscribers after a paid membership or free trial expires.
Eligible users can sign in with their previous email address and password, then choose “Go to free content instead” when that option appears.
The service provides more than 170 live and on-demand channels, although availability and programming can change. Users may browse channels, search for programs, create a watchlist, and explore available sports, movies, and television shows.
Important restrictions still apply:
- Fubo Free is not offered to every former customer.
- It works only on supported devices.
- Programs marked with a lock require a paid subscription.
- Local stations and regional sports networks are excluded.
- Recordings associated with an expired subscription are deleted.
Because eligibility is account-specific, former customers should consult the official Fubo Free guide and sign in to check their current options.
