Our story is rooted in Bell, Book & Candle, the distinctive subterranean restaurant in Manhattan’s West Village. Known for its contemporary American cuisine, intimate atmosphere, creative cocktails, and pioneering aeroponic rooftop garden, the restaurant was built around a simple philosophy: great food begins with great ingredients.
From the beginning, our culinary approach has focused on local, organic, seasonal, sustainable, and responsibly sourced ingredients. The rooftop garden brought this philosophy to life, growing herbs, greens, vegetables, and other produce above the city and bringing them directly into the kitchen.
Today, that spirit continues through BB&C NYC, while our perspective extends far beyond New York.
